This information relates to Chart 44: William PASK married Elizabeth c1814, and lived in Timberland, Lincolnshire.
Yesterday Marion Harper Hopkins, an ardent family history researcher, provided us with a transcript of the marriage of George Simpson to Maria Pask. They married in St. Michael's in Louth, Lincolnshire on 30 July 1899.
Marion is a fellow Guild of One-Name Studies member. She has been researching since 1989, and has one-name studies for the names HOPKIN(S), CRAMP(E) and BRAML(E)Y, and their variants. Marion and her husband Mick, frequently undertake marriage challenges. Last December they provided 55 Pask marriage transcripts from the Lincoln registration district (see Blog titled Lincoln Marriages), and previously they did a Lambeth marriage challenge (see Blog titled Lambeth Marriages). We are indebted for their contributions, and amazed at their energy and committment. Although not related to any Pasks, they have volunteered to take part in the next Pask Family Gathering on 3 July 2010.
This marriage and additional information on George & Maria Simpson née Pask will be included in the next website update.
