This information relates to a currently unidentified main branch of the family with roots in Nottinghamshire.
We had an e-mail via Genes Reunited from Margaret, who is researching Edna Coulson Pask. Margaret writes:
... My grandfather, who was in the army was asked by a dying colleague to care for his daughter after his death. As a consequence Edna was brought to live in the family with my grandparents and their three children, my mother and her two younger brothers. The youngest brother can remember Edna ..... Ron says they nicknamed her Dolly and she died in 1934 from a virus. I have found an Edna Coulson Pask born in Derbyshire and her mother's name was Pask. Presumably the father's name was Coulson. Do you know anything about this family please?
As Margaret mentions, Edna C. Pask was registered in 1920 in the Basford registration district. She died in 1934 in the Leicester registration district, at the age of 13.
We will purchase the birth certificate so that we can identify who her mother was.
