Mary Elizabeth Brown née Pask

This information relates to Chart 01, one of Lincolnshire main families - William Pask (c1695-), who lived in Wellingore, Lincolnshire (Stuart's own ancestors).

Over the past couple of months, we have been exchanging e-mails with Malcom Brown, whose grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Pask.

Mary was born in 1867 in Lincoln, the daughter of John & Jane Harrison Pask née Brownlow. She married Joseph Brown in Leicester in 1891, and they had four children, two of whom died in infancy. She had two sons, Joseph, and Charles Elmit Brown. Charles during World War I was a Private in the 13th Battalion of the York and Lancaster Regiment, and was killed in action on 12 April 1918 in Belgium. Charles is commemorated in perpetuity on Panel 8, of the Ploegsteert Memorial.

Mary's eldest son Joseph was Malcolm's father. Malcolm now lives in Vancouver Island. He has provided information on this family, including photographs included in a web album.

Information on this family will be included in the next website update.
