The marriage certificate for Thomas & Hannah Pask née Parish arrived this morning. The certificate will be scanned and included in the next update.
They were married on December 25, 1840 in the parish church of Upminster. The marriage was witnessed by Henry Taverson (curate) and Mary Pask.
Thomas was a Cordwainer, aged 21 a bachelor residing at Upminster. His father was listed as Thomas Pask, a Farmer.
Hannah was a Servant, aged 25 a spinster residing at Upminster. His father was listed as Joseph Pask [Parish], a Labourer. The certificate erroneously shows the father's name as Pask.
The father of Thomas could very well be the Thomas Pask, who was born in Thundersley, Essex the son of John PASK and Frances HAFFINDEN. Further investigation is required.
