Website Update 28 July 2010

The website was updated today, Wednesday 28 July. This is a minor update, only to adjust some settings, and add some additional information.

There are a few changes on the following charts:

Australian Births, Marriages, and Deaths

This week Ancestry announced that the availability of the Australia Birth, Marriage, and Death Index:

Australia Birth Index, 1788-1922 Australia Marriage Index, 1788-1949 Australia Death Index, 1787-1985

These indexes include the Australian registrar's offices after civil registration of births, marriages, and deaths became law in the mid 19th century. Also church records that predate civil registration.
 
We searched these indexes for Pask, Paske, and Pasque, and found the following information:

66 Pask-related births, with the mother's name of Pask(e), these include:

Some of this BMDs are already included into our database, mainly thanks to contributions from Colleen Willis, who meticulously searched all the available individual indexes in 2007/8. In the future we will include the remaining entries.

Website Update 13 July 2010

The website was updated today, Tuesday 13 July. We have been away for an extended vacation in Northern California, so this is a comparatively minor update. Nevertheless there are 43 new narratives added, making a total of 8,463 detailed narratives now available on the website.
