Thingoe Marriage Transcripts

In January I received over 60 marriage transcripts for the Thingoe Registration District. They were as a result of the Guild of One-Name Studies (GOONS) Marriage Challenge. The Marriage Challenge is a Guild Project in which volunteers (Challengers) search for marriage entries in the deposited Parish Registers for a particular Registration District (RD) for the period 1837 to 1911.

For Thingoe Marriage Registration District, the challenger was Sandra Stevens. We are indebted to her for these marriage transcripts as they help considerably in linking families together.

At that time, I included the marriages for the people already in the database. However I am still working through those not yet included in the database, and linking the families together. This week I included the information gleaned from the following transcripts:

• Harry Pask and Ellen Wallace, married in Horringer, Suffolk on 28 October 1905
• John Oliver Prewer and Maud Annie Pask, married in Horringer, Suffolk on 8 November 1906
• Arthur Pask and Janet Ramsey, married in Horringer, Suffolk on 14 May 1910
• Walter Dennis Gooch and Agnes Mary Pask, married in Hengrave, Suffolk on 7 September 1903
• Thomas Cuthbertson and Letitia Pask, married in Hengrave, Suffolk on 7 September 1903
• Charles William Irons and Frances Pask, married in Great Whelnetham, Suffolk on 12 June 1905
• Alfred Foreman and Ada Alice Paske, married in Flempton, Suffolk on 4 February 1904
• William Tatum and Harriett Sophia Pask, married in Denham St. Mary, Suffolk on 5 August 1901
